I've been using an organic over-the-counter (otc) natural/organic ointment for my chronic eczema prior to buying your product. Although it relieved the itchiness for at least a few hours, it did not improve the eczema. Upon recommendation of my acupuncturist, I bought your product, and because the eczema was dry, thick, crusty and incredibly itchy, I got EczeHerbal No. 3.
The result: Upon application, the ointment did nothing for the itching. I waited until it was getting so maddening that I wanted to scratch so desperately, so I applied a small dab of the otc ointment on the site. Viola! No itch, and the no-itch lasted for about 5 hours! I thought this was great!
I've been using EH3 for about a month now, often with the otc ointment to counteract the itchiness. The site is less crusty which was what I expected because EH3 is greasy. However, when the combination loses its effectiveness in the course of the day (the length of effectiveness has lessened to 3-4 hours), the itchiness comes back full blast. The site is still thick and continues to spread.
I gave you 2 stars because I appreciate that you've used organic and natural ingredients, and it did help with the crustiness of the eczema. However, the eczema is still there, thick, very itchy and spreading. I won't recommend nor reorder your product.

Ah, how I wish our products would be a miracle for every person who tried them. I have an idea why our EczeHerbal 3 did not accomplish what you had hoped. The fact that your eczema is so itchy and is spreading indicates that it is in a much more active phase than what our EczeHerbal 3 Ointment is formulated for. I think the EczeHerbal 2 Ointment would have been more appropriate for you. In addition, you use the term "crusty" - technically, crusts form from dried exudate. If you had any exudate forming crusts on the eczema, then the EczeHerbal 3 would be totally inappropriate. In such cases, the EczeHerbal 1 ointment should be used. I know this is tricky - TCM can be very specific when it comes to pattern differentiation. Also, our ointments should be applied 3 to 5 times daily for best results - don't wait until it is unbearable itchy to reapply the ointment. Contact us if you would like to discuss this further.
